The following information provided by alecv of the Vintage Computer Forums.

----------------------------------------------------------------

ROM code contains "Oak Technology VGA BIOS Cv2.15-35" and "Thu Nov 29 10:40:58 1990"

----------------------------------------------------------------

The VGA card that this ROM is fitted to 'scrambles' the address and data lines.
That is why there are two BIN files.

[Oak Technology VGA BIOS Cv2.15-35 - via EPROM programmer.bin] <----- use this to create a replacement ROM
[Oak Technology VGA BIOS Cv2.15-35 - via DEBUG.bin] <----- as seen by computer

----------------------------------------------------------------

If you are interested in the particular 'scrambling' being used,
it is commented within the Perl script found in the file named [Oak Technology VGA BIOS Cv2.15-35.pl].

----------------------------------------------------------------

If you want to execute the Perl script:

1. Rename file [Oak Technology VGA BIOS Cv2.15-35 - via EPROM programmer.bin] to [OAK.bin]
2. Execute the Perl script.
3. Resulting file created by the script is named [OAK1.bin]

You will see that [OAK1.bin] is the same as [Oak Technology VGA BIOS Cv2.15-35 - via DEBUG.bin].
